A Message to You

Welcome to International Victory Fellowship in the mighty name of Jesus.

We are an international Christian Church committed to preaching the full Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in Jesus as our Saviour, Deliverer and Healer.

We are glad that you have taken the time to visit with us today and it is our prayer that God will richly bless you.

Since Jesus Christ is the Healer, we commit ourselves to be a centre of healing for the whole man — spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.

Please feel free to ask us any questions you might have regarding this ministry and share with us if there be any need in your life we can help you with.

Our Foundation

Doctrinal Statement

"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father." — Philippians 2:10–11

1.

We believe in God the Father, Son and The Holy Spirit, three distinct beings, yet one in thought, intent, purpose and character.

2.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, died, buried and resurrected. He ascended into Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.

3.

We believe that the Bible is the word of God, fully inspired and written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is our rule of faith and practice.

4.

We believe that we are all born sinners; the Holy Spirit convicts of sin; The Lord Jesus Christ paid the price for sin by shedding His precious blood on the cross as atonement for sin; those who refuse to accept his sacrifice for their sins are eternally lost: and those who repent of their sins and personally accept the Lord Jesus Christ as saviour receive forgiveness of sin and life everlasting.

5.

We believe the baptism of water by immersion after salvation.

6.

We believe in the baptism in Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as Spirit of God gives utterance, that all gifts of the Holy Spirit are valid and operative today, and that the fruit of the Holy Spirit should increasingly be evident in a Christian's life.

7.

We believe that the redemptive work of Lord Jesus Christ provides healing for our spirit, soul and body.

8.

We believe that we should obey Jesus' command to preach the gospel to all the world.

9.

We believe that the members of the body of Christ are the church and that they should regularly fellowship with one another in a local church setting.

10.

We believe in and look for the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

From Scripture

What We Believe and Practice

The Authority of the Bible

We are committed to the authority of the Bible.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

— 2 Timothy 3:16

Loving People

We believe in loving people and helping those who are hurting right inside.

"Beloved let us love one another for love is God, and everyone that loves is born of God, but he that loves not does not know God for God is love."

— 1 John 4:7–8

God's Love for You

We believe that God loves you and that He is deeply concerned about you.

"For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son that he that believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

— John 3:16

Why We Worship & Celebrate

"Stand up and bless the Lord your God for ever and ever and blessed be thy glorious name which is exalted above all blessing and praise."

— Nehemiah 9:5b

Why We Clap Our Hands in Praise

"Clap your hands all ye people and shout to God with the voice of triumph."

— Psalm 47:1

Why We Lift Our Hands

"I will therefore that man pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without wrath and shouting."

— 1 Timothy 2:8

Why We Sing & Dance

"Praise Him with the timbrel and dance. Let him praise His name in the dance, let them sing praises unto Him with timbrel and harp."

— Psalm 150:4; 149:3; 2 Samuel 6:14

Why We Use Musical Instruments

"Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet — praise Him with psaltery and harp, praise Him with string instruments and organs, praise Him upon high sounding cymbals."

— Psalm 150:3–5

Why We Pray & Sing in Tongues

"For he that speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not unto men, but unto God, for no man understands him; however in the spirit he speaks mysteries. He that speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself … I will pray with my spirit but I will also pray intelligently with my mind and understanding; I will sing with my spirit … but I will sing intelligently with my mind and understanding also."

— 1 Corinthians 14:2, 4, 14–15

Why We Prophesy

"Eagerly pursue and seek to acquire this love … and earnestly desire and cultivate the spiritual endowments, especially that you may prophesy — he who prophesies edifies and improves the church."

— 1 Corinthians 14:1, 4

Why We Pray Aloud with One Voice

"They lifted up their voices to God with one accord … and when they had prayed the place was shaken where they were assembled together and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the Word of God with boldness."

— Acts 4:24–31

Why We Give Our First Fruits (Tithes)

"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in my house … if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

— Malachi 3:10; Proverbs 3:9–10

Why We Shout unto the Lord

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands; sing forth the honour of His name, make His praise glorious."

— Psalm 66:1–2; Psalm 47:1
